Way back toward the beginning of Planet Money there was an interview with a guy who claimed to have a computer model of the great depression. This was developed with Ben Bernanke’s involvement and direction.

At the time the programmer said he would know more in a week how well it was tracking the current crisis but as far as I know that was never followed up.

I love your interviewing style and I think it would be fantastic if you called up that dude and asked him how well his computer model is working out.

You could have informed your listeners about any one of Thunderbird’s top-ten rankings (see below), but instead you made a lame joke about it being a “biker” school. In the future, please opt for the information rather than the lame joke. I listen to you on “Planet Money” to get information. When I want lame jokes, I listen to Tom and Ray on “Car Talk.”
