Hello Chana,
Way back toward the beginning of Planet Money there was an interview with a guy who claimed to have a computer model of the great depression. This was developed with Ben Bernanke’s involvement and direction.

At the time the programmer said he would know more in a week how well it was tracking the current crisis but as far as I know that was never followed up.
I love your interviewing style and I think it would be fantastic if you called up that dude and asked him how well his computer model is working out.
